We're currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our Plating and Anodizing business. Position Summary: The General Manager of Plating and Anodizing will lead, direct, and coordinate activities in engineering, manufacturing, project management, and field installation. This role is crucial in driving operational performance, fostering team member development and involvement, and ensuring the adherence to our quality, LEAN, and continuous improvement principles.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assume full P&L responsibility for the Plating and Anodizing business.
• Be an effective agent of change while respecting organizational history and culture.
• Inspire and collaborate with a high-performance team to lead organizational change.
• Develop and administer company policies, overseeing department activities to achieve strategic goals and KPIs.
• Identify and implement process improvement and synergy opportunities to reduce costs and enhance quality.
• Implement company operational initiatives, staffing requirements, team building strategies, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review, acquire, and develop progressive system improvements, technology advancements, and facility expansions or acquisitions.
• Cultivate positive relationships with counterparts, customers, suppliers, team members, and community leaders.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and direction within the division, periodically assessing organizational structure and making necessary adjustments.

Travel Requirements: This position requires overnight travel, including visits to other Koch Finishing Systems locations and customer facilities.
Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher education (Master's degree preferred) in engineering, business, or product management.
• 10 years or more of experience in metal finishing or a similar industry.
• Experience in the sales, project management, field and/or manufacturing management of custom engineer to order capital equipment.
